LaBelle is a very small city located in the state of Florida. With a population of 5,065 people and five associated neighborhoods, LaBelle is the 285th largest community in Florida.

One interesting thing about the economy is that relatively large numbers of people worked from their home: 9.93% of the workforce. While this number may seem small overall, as a fraction of the total workforce this is high compared to the rest of the county. These workers are often telecommuters who work in knowledge-based, white-collar professions. For example, Silicon Valley has large numbers of people who telecommute. Other at-home workers may be self-employed people who operate small businesses out of their homes.
It is a fairly quiet city because there are relatively few of those groups of people who have a tendency to be noisy. (Children, for example, often can't help themselves from being noisy, and being parents ourselves, we know!) LaBelle has relatively few families with children living at home, and is quieter because of it. Renters and college students, for their own reasons, can also be noisy. LaBelle has few renters and college students. But the biggest reason it is quieter in LaBelle than in most places in America, is that there are just simply fewer people living here. If you think trees make good neighbors, LaBelle may be for you.
One downside of living in LaBelle, however, is that residents on average have to contend with a long commute, spending on average 32.73 minutes every day commuting to work.
The percentage of people in LaBelle with college degrees is quite a bit lower than the national average for cities and towns of 21.84%: just 12.74% of people over 25 have a bachelor's degree or advanced degree.
The per capita income in LaBelle in 2022 was $25,776, which is lower middle income relative to Florida and the nation. This equates to an annual income of $103,104 for a family of four. However, LaBelle contains both very wealthy and poor people as well.
